Pokketto runs in your web browser. It isn't downloaded from the App Store or Google Play, and it isn't reviewed by them. You can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app, and it updates itself whenever you open it.

It needs an internet connection to load and save your information.

You sign in with your email address and a password. Each account's cards, vouchers, receipts and travel documents are kept separate: database rules allow only your account to read or change them.

Use a password you don't use anywhere else, and sign out from the More menu when you're done on a device you share.

If you forget your password, use “Forgot password?” on the sign-in page: we email you a link to choose a new one. The link only works once and expires after a short time.

Travel document files are kept in private storage that only your account can open. When you open an original, Pokketto creates a link that stops working after about a minute.

Receipt photos are stored with your receipt records, which are private to your account in the same way.

To read receipts, loyalty cards and travel documents for you, Pokketto sends the photo or PDF to Google's Gemini AI service. Only scan documents you're comfortable sending to that service.

Barcodes on travel documents are read on your own device, and the AI never sees the barcode data. AI-read details are shown to you to check before they count as confirmed.

For your privacy, Pokketto doesn't store passports, ID cards, driving licences, visas or documents that show a date of birth or an ID number. These are checked for before anything is saved, and are refused.

The checks are there to protect you, and like any automatic check they can occasionally miss something. Please don't try to work around them: you're responsible for the documents you choose to store.

To load faster, Pokketto keeps some information in this browser, such as your recent receipts, your trips and your preferred currency. On a shared or public computer, sign out and clear this site's data in your browser settings afterwards.

Pokketto doesn't show advertising and doesn't include third-party analytics or tracking tools.

You can delete loyalty cards, gift cards, vouchers, receipts and travel documents from their screens. Deleting a travel document also deletes its file, unless another document from the same file still uses it.

Whole accounts can't be deleted from the app yet.
